Working Out
I always love Missy’s musings! I will aspire to do the list & add some of my own. Keep it up Missy & to all the smart, strong, sexy, playful women out there…….keep playing!!
Here is a PARTIAL list of a few things I aspire to do:
Become successful in a major market, specifically the contemporary fine art business.
Change a tire on the freeway while dressed to go to a formal event.
Help manage a family biz.
Converse as an intellectual peer in a group of artists, scientists, businessmen, professors, writers, etc.
Forgive my past mistakes, no matter how bad they were.
Allow myself to mature into a wise and loving and productive woman, unconcerned about the superficial aspects of aging.
5″ heels, talk our way out of a ticket, grill a steak…..really? You have to be kidding. How disappointing!
Perhaps a more scientific poll would have yielded different results. What would you put on a list of things every woman should know how to do?
I like the jump the car and drive a stick shift! But I would add financially support yourself (I guess I’m old school) and love yourself just the way you are.
for #6 and 7, add “for herself!”
great thinking, from greatthinking women!! thanks, that was fun 🙂
Loved reading those, and came up with my own list for fun:
9 Things Every Woman should know how to do:
1. Say no with no guilt.
2. Whistle super loudly through her fingers.
3. Drive a stick shift.
4. Make an awesome present from scratch.
5. Recite at least one favorite poem by heart.
6. RIDE A BIKE!
7. Contact her elected representatives.
8. Talk to a teenager.
9. Jump a car.
Some of these – such as driving a stick shift – seem to be a dying out! Let’s not let that happen.
