THANK YOU MISSY! It was so refreshing to read your take on the “pink-washing” that we see during the month of October.
Sad also to see that so many woman are more devoted to the pink “awareness” than to the truth of finding better prevention methods and also better detection methods.
Unfortunately money leads, not science, when it comes to healthcare….especially for women’s healthcare sadly. Mammography is always given the spotlight, but what about thermography? Most women have never even heard of it and it is much more “spot on” (for lack of a better term!) than mammography. Don’t forget, that the radiation that a woman subjects her breasts to during a mammography has been documented as CAUSING cancer. But again, when women are just seen as another way to fill the pockets of mega cancer centers and pharmaceutical companies, all it means to them is that they are creating another customer.
Again, thank you for bringing to light what is being kept in the dark…or should I say PINK!
Love this! I’m in!
I apologize for the typo in my comment. Awareness is VITAL!!
