Working Out
I’d rather not have Sarah Palin identified as any type of role model for any intelligent thinking woman. And I’d rather not buy products from any company that has the gall to even suggest her as a role model for human beings much less women . You can consider this my call to cancel my subscription and remove me from your mailing list.
I would rather be inspired by all great women, and not just famous ones, not to be just like them, but to allow their strengths and achievements to inspire me to be the best ME. Since I am the only me there is, I might want to eat chocolate one day, and do burpees the next, wear a dress sometimes and pants other times. I appreciate Title Nine for being inclusive of lots of women, not politically exclusive. That’s one trait Id rather not embrace. Rather than be like someone else, I’d like to compliment their success, and go make my own mark on the world with my own unique gifts.
I would rather lead like Angela Merkel so that my actions would inspire others … lead by example. I would rather think like Sherry Turkle so that my intelligence would enable me to play, work, and live life intelligently. I would rather have the power of invisibility so that I might instantaneously witness the travel of or teleportation of others. I would rather do a day of burpees so that following day I might spend eating chocolate … dark chocolate salted caramels, that is. I would rather be a contestant on Amazing Race so that I might “survive” the encounters and experiences in the world. I would rather work as an assistant for 1 year for Tina Fey only because politics aren’t “my thing.” I would rather dresses for the rest of my life in order to figure out how could do anything graciously and gracefully … but athletically. At 63 years “young” I simply would rather live my life well one day at a time.
Amazing Race so I can share the adventure with someone I love.
How about both ladies, either seem like they’d be interesting, funny and just fun to know. I’m with the plank girl but since burpees have a plank aspect to them i’ll go with that one.
Walsh and Trenor.
Teleport. Save gas, time, WAY safe and my hubby would think it’s totally HOT.
Why be limited to the restrictions of either/or binaries? I find this ad propogates women to the confines of restrictive choices; we should think beyond either/or choices to reach our full potential.
Bring it on Sarah! Love that Palin leads with courage and never apologizes for who she is #strong women rule
I’m in for a day of burpees and dreses!

THESE are the women I look up to in government.
hell, just to throw in some Republicans, even Barbara Bush and Nancy Reagan brought more dignity and respect to the name of women as first ladies than Sarah Palin ever will as an elected official.
I never comment on online articles or websites, but this is how strong of a reaction I’m having to seeing Sarah Palin’s name on your website.
You didn’t have to bring politics into this but YOU DID.
I will be spending the remainder of my gift card (gifted to me by my mother – the strongest, kindest woman I know who would also agree with me) and will never spend a cent on your company again. ever.
Absolutely Angela Merkel! The Amazing Race…because of the adventure. Sarah Palin, because she doesn’t need to apologize for her strength or conviction. I’d rather wear pants forever (leads to more mobility!!! ) but I’d miss dresses… I’d rather be able to think, and I’d love to teleport!. 🙂 I find some politics (and certain politicians) offensive, but I’m willing to listen if someone has RATIONALE for their beliefs/opinions. I’d never cut someone off strictly for their politics, everyone has something to add to the conversation. I love Title Nine 🙂
Nice response, Laura.
Well said Laura 🙂
