Day 2- whew. This is going to be good to kickstart me back into gear. And I’ve challenged my husband to join me. First fitness challenge he has ever said yes to! Progress! I’m doing all 4, he is doing the wall sit.
I’m taking the challenge with the wall sits. I’m 70, a runner and cyclist. I started at the intermediate level. This will motivate me to do it every day.
i have started monthly challenges for my horse back riding students
the first one this month was stretching
next month it is to exercise every day (riding counts) in addition to stretching
i have plans for two more months so far
i love this idea
i am going to work on my planks
Thank you for this challenge! I’m rehabbing my hip so off my normal routine. I’m adding wall sits and push ups (beginner) to my PT exercises. Great inspiration and community!
Thank you for this challenge. I’m rehabbing my hip so off my normal routine. This challenge is just what I need. I’m adding wall sits and push-ups (beginner) to my PT exercises.
I’m a couple days late but I’m going for the planks – intermediate level. Thanks!
How many sets of each? For example, one set of 3 push ups (intermediate)? Or as many sets as possible in 5 minutes with short breaks in between?
We meant to say “put aside five minutes every day to ensure you have time to knock out all your moves.” There’s no need to max out daily! If you’re on the intermediate push-up path like I am, 3 push-ups daily is a-okay. We are focused on good form first, and then progression over the 30 days. –Christina@T9
Wow, thanks for the encouragement! I did my first set of push ups and planks yesterday and I didn’t make the full 5 minutes but I did start so that’s something. Ready to do day 2!
I will be doing beginner pull-up and advanced pushups
Is it too late to start today?
It’s not too late to start – pick your move and join us! –Christina@T9
