Each season we choose a “model” image for our catalog cover and web home page. Our January catalog is coming soon and we need your help choosing our next hero image. Let your voice be heard!
One more vote for including older women in your advertising. Title 9 passed the year I graduated from high school. It was and still is a milestone in women’s history and there are so many women of all ages and shapes who have benefitted from that legislation and who wear your clothing. Title 9 is not just the name of a company, it actually means something that you could embody in your advertising.
I agree with everyone, and let’s be real, sporty clothes are great for just doing errands. My hardcore gym/running/surfing days are behind me, but I’m still in great shape and I still like the “active” aesthetic. Even If my sport is power-walking!
I love Title 9 clothes and always wonder why the company feels their demographic is the 25-35 age group. I am 66 and very active. Why not have a mix of ages represented or does the company truly think live is over by our age? If anything, I have the freedoms of time and money to buy what I want and to go do any sport I choose. Good looking, well made clothing for active women is a necessity for me.
I am delighted that there are older women speaking up about the representation (or lack thereof) of women “of a certain age” in Title Nine materials. . I recall a few years ago when Title Nine had a few older women models…BUT, they were all people who were full-time (or nearly so) athletes (martial arts, etc). I’m just your regular 67 year old person, who likes bike adventures, who goes with my adult kids to try bouldering, who used to attend dance classes until recently, who likes yoga, who sings while I walk my dog in the suburbs, who is just an active older person. And Title Nine is losing touch with me, because the models depict super fit young women whose primary identity seems to be “beautiful, athletic, full-time fitness”. I have loved Title Nine for more than twenty years, and though I admire and can (somewhat) identify with the active lifestyle, I’m not seeing myself in the pages of the catalog. I want to see some grey hair, some less extreme activities, some ‘regular folk’ who are just living vibrantly, with moderate acticity, and who can put Title Nine products to use in an ordinary, everyday way.
I agree with the women who commented on including older women in your catalogs as well as on the covers. I’ll be 73 next month and am an active, fit woman who has been supporting Title IX for many years by purchasing and wearing your clothes to fitness classes, on hikes and around town. Im sure there are many more older women who are also happy customers, we deserve to be included.
I agree with Sandy and all the other women over 40 out there. I am 63 and would love to see better representation of older women. I may not be bungee jumping or scaling cliffs, but I am active and relatively fit. I hike, ski, garden, etc., all the while wearing Title IX clothing. We can still be badasses ladies. Please show us older women kicking butt, having fun and “gettin’ it done”.
Please include models of a “certain age”. I am 59 years old and have been wearing T9 clothes for years. Support the women who have supported you and who have blazed trails both literally and figuratively for decades.
I voted for number one and I have to agree with the comments about older women. I’m 72 and have been wearing Title 9 clothes for years—Zumba, hiking, camping, kayaking, etc. It would be nice to also see some older models. (I would volunteer)

Cover 1!
#4 I love my Title 9 clothes. Let’s keep Title 9 about women…real biological women!
