No, not another resolution but a real commitment. Not something that fades away with the waning weeks of February but something that becomes part of who we are. A commitment to make time for a fitness that feeds our body and soul. A commitment to not just make time for fitness but a commitment to build it into the fabric of our days and lives. A commitment to ride to work or a commitment to a wind-down, afterwork walk. A commitment to learn a new sport or re-acquaint with an old one.
It all starts to sound a little less daunting and a little more fun. Now that’s a commitment I can keep.

I am committed to working out at the gym at least 4 days a week and after ski season I will take my new road bike out daily! I already have bike riding buddies to help me along in this sport!
I wanted to thank t9 and its family of amazing women all over the country for being such a tremendous source of inspiration to me. The stories & images of real women with very busy lives who are also amazing athletes keeps me moving when the craziness of my life threatens to take over.
Thank you so much for being much more than a company that sells great clothes!

I made my commitment on September 16, 2009. I’m on a two-year journey to get into the best shape of my life by the time I turn 50. I plan to celebrate the big 5 – 0 by running a marathon.
I’ve never been an athlete. Picked last in P.E., etc. so I’ve had a kind of a negative attitude about exercise. My daughter has inspired me to begin running. I participated in the Houston Marathon/ElPaso Energy 5K yesterday, and finished **not last** lol. Crossing that finish line felt great. I’m 54, and feel I have a lot of good years ahead of me.
I am going to commit to 20 minutes of exercise a day. it seems doable, but then when i get out there and get goin’, it’s almost always more than 20 minutes. this is a way to make it seem easy, and doable. “twenty minutes?! I can do that! piece o’ cake!”
