‘Way in a manger
A star shines brightly overhead
Miraculous gift
Slate gray above white,
the junco’s return portends,
winter’s first snow fall.
Bare branch holds the snow
Leaves form a blanket below
One bud, spring will come…
Denver T-shirt day,
Imagining Thanksgiving
in ski village snow
Breath steams in cold air
Feet crunching on crusty snow
Peace surrounds my heart
Old green tree
Brought in from snowy chill
Standing tall, star on top
The sun sets further
We gather ourselves closer
And bask in the warmth
Optimistic 2009 (two oh oh nine)
Change is coming
Believe
Feel your heart beating
See the sparkle in his eyes
Feel the love in his touch
Warm mug in my hands
Warm shawl around my shoulders
white blanket outside
