I am 26 and have been surfing since I was 10. I was taught how to surf by my sister in Longport, NJ (small town). My sister currently lives in Pacifica, CA. I live in Philadelphia and teach High School at Overbrook School for the Blind. I would LOVE to be able to take my sister with me on this trip. I have never been to Costa Rica before and would love to surf the waves their! Not sure if this matters, but my sister Deirdre Finnegan also entered the contest! I don’t have any pictures of my surfing but hopfully I will take some stellar shots out their!
