Everything I know about the game of life, I first learned on a field or a court. So many good lessons, here are a few:
-Don’t be sorry; be better.
-Whether you think you’re a loser or you think you’re a winner, you’re right.
-Practice makes permanent…like nothing else does.
-The scoreboard never lies.
-When you miss a shot, get back and play defense.
-There actually is a “me” in team, but the team is always bigger.
-When it’s time to get down to sports (or business), make sure your hair is out of your eyes.
What are some of the lessons you’ve learned from sport?

I lesson I just learned last week:
If I’m not feeling 100% (and I’m aware of this fact but go ahead anyway), I have no business being on the horses back.
She’s feels I’m not 100% and I spend the whole time yanking her around by her mouth trying to get her to do something I’m only 1/2 invested in myself.
That was a bad day – and her mouth was sore when we were done. 🙁
BUT – that will NEVER happen again.
It’s not like a solo sport like snow shoeing, which I love. If I’m at 80%, it’s only me that suffers. But it’s a whole different ballgame when two of us are involved.

My lesson is, “when in doubt always wear your snow pants.”
