We know you love our model athletes: ordinary women doing extraordinary things. With so much action on our photo shoots, we end up with too many great images. We need your help choosing which shots of these amazing women we should use.
For just 72 hours we’re opening up the polls. Cast a vote for your favorite summer model image. Which one is your pick?
I have to agree that being with friends is great..however, it would be wonderful to see older women, women of color as models. I notice this more as I age and and don’t have the body I had when I was in my early 40’s!!!
I couldn’t agree more.
Sheer exuberance!
I love ordinary women doing extraordinary things. That’s what it’s all about – Title Nine inspires me to opt outside !!
Thanks Barbie!
The sentiments implied in the photos are great, but your models never represent me nor the other women I almost always encounter in your stores: active & over 60. We WERE these women, over 40 years ago when your namesake was new, but now we’re MORE. Don’t be afraid of gray hair & wrinkles!
Thanks for your comments Lynn. We believe that our athlete-models represent our best selves: active women of all colors, being adventurous and doing the sports they love. You might be surprised to know that not only do our models actually do all the sports we shoot them doing, but most of our models are in their 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s -well above the age of your average model. In addition, we use our Facebook and Instagram pages to celebrate our amazing customers of every age. Submit some photos of your next adventure so that we can show the world just what you say, that women over 60 are doing more than ever!
That smile!!
They’re all inspiring!
We’re inside, waiting out the Blizzard on the East Coast, so keep those beach photos coming!
Glad we could help warm you up (in spirit) during snowmaggedon!
I like seeing women doing things together and bring supportive of each other!
None of these are a good pick. lets have some realistic women who are representative of different body types and cultures. Unless you only want to appeal to
white women with perfect measurements.
I have to say that I love every one of the cover shots presented for voting. After wanting to be the woman featured in all the action shots, I also want to be the one arm in arm with my friends after a day of play, knowing they were all playing, too, just a bit out of frame in the other photos. I think the photos tell a story – they tell the story I want to live in more.
Thanks Darla. We do indeed try to tell a story with all of our images, and there really is nothing better than being active with friends!
