I love bike riding or Nordic skiing at night during a snow storm, shining my headlight into the forest and seeing several pairs of eyes glowing back at me. No worries though, the glow comes from my 5 dogs that are enjoying the night as much as I am. Arriving home to the wonderful smell of dinner being cooked by my amazing husband! That’s winter’ tude in our world! Not many places on our planet as amazing as central Idaho in the winter.
Play like a kid with no time restrictions, and drink hot chocolate with my grandkids!
And wear purple LOUDLY!
Out after dark, loves playing with fire, will ski, sled or climb anything
A brisk walk/run on the trails in the moonlight, then hot tubbing on the back deck. Especially nice when it is snowing.
Standing on the pool deck in my swimsuit watching the mist roll off the pool. Diving in to the warmer than air water. A great workout followed by a mad dash to the showers. Ohhh the beauty of swimming outdoors in the winter.
I plan to embrace the winter and everyday. i will wear MORE clothes, pretty little hats and scarves!!!!!!
After being in Alaska in August and having to wear a jacket, now I know cold, wet weather just calls for more changes of clothes and layers. When told we can’t be outside at the beach in sub-50 degree weather, my comment, “Put on more clothes and do what you were going to do in the sun.”
