At 51 I am fit to be happy with who I am. I am fit to swim laps with my 92 year old friend and motivator. I am fit to walk while others run because I LOVE to walk. I am fit to kayak and enjoy the beauty that surrounds me.

In May I will celebrate my 63rd birthday and my 60th year of being a sportswoman. I am fit for running, lap-swimming, some weight-lifting to maintain overall core strength, hiking, road and mountain biking and just started learning how to figure skate (I have a ballet background). As a wife, mother (adult children who are on their own), and now traveling frequently to another state to assist my 90 year old parents, fitness in mind and body is essential. To have pretty fitness clothing in which to “glow” makes all the difference these days! Thank you Title Nine!

I am an 80 year old widow. He is a 79 year old widower. We were high school classmates who have rediscovered each other and are having an amazing relationship. I feel very fit.
I am fit to turn 50 in a few months! Just returned from a lunchtime run at my university’s track — same place I ran 30 years ago as a student. That was before today’s students were even born, and I am still at it! I finished a half marathon yesterday, and my 8th full marathon is coming up in July!
I am fit to move into my sunshine years and be healthly and strong. Keep up with my teenage boys (maybe not on the fields and roads, but on life’s adventures). Fit to keep moving on, riding my bike on 100K rides, hiking through the mountains with skis or boots – whatever the weather, and to raise my face to the sun and know life is an adventure until the end.
I am FIT for motherhood and inspiring other moms to find their STRENGTH for MOTHERHOOD. As I say in my line of work: STRIDE ON!
