Working Out
It’s never to late to change, no matter what it is that needs changing.
Don’t change a thing Title Nine!!! I love your store!!
“Life is short. Pack light.” because it works for me on two levels — never travel with more than you can handle yourself (a carry-on, wheeled suitcase and a backpack); and don’t carry old hurts, anger, grudges through life.
And I would like to echo the writers who wish your models portrayed a more general audience. I love the chutzpah, looks and accomplishments of your models but I’m in my 60s and cannot really identify with them. Think of all the Baby Boomers out there who like me are still very fit, active, vital (and big shoppers!).
“Only boring people get bored.” Mom
“Embrace the journey”
I have to agree with Carla, Susan and Donald.
I love your styles (the bright colors – not so much). I am fortunate that I am able to fit in to them, but I sympathize with those that do not – I was once one of them.
I used to be inspired by your models, but now I feel that they represent all that the majority of us are not – world traveler, triathlete, super-this, ultra-that. I am not trying to detract from the beautiful women in your catalog, but why not celebrate the beautiful homemaker, mother, single gal that loves life but can’t knit a sweater while standing on her head on a skateboard?
My mantra is: Do what you love, and love what you do!
All that I am, I am with my mind.
(12 marathons finished to date.)
Don’t be another Nike, just keep on supplying good excersize and sports gear to us all, including larger proportioned women.
Awhile back I was in a state of doubt & my youngest son(23) gave me a piece of advice that has since become my mantra (I’m 62)…. “The sun never sets on a badass!’
Favorite mantra: I have enough; I do enough; I am enough.
Also, regarding commitment: Either fish–or cut bait.
I have been in a decent amount of pain for the past year fighting insurance, finding a new doc after mine left the facility and recenttly found out i need a total hip replacement instead of arthoscopic since the damage is a lot worse now. So when I work out which I make myself do through the pain but not to make things worse, just to maintain a level of strength so I can heal strong .. my line to myself is:
Suck it Up Buttercup!

This too shall pass
