A resolution, well, that’s a lot of pressure. We make grand plans, set big goals, write out long lists. And then, when we don’t accomplish it all we beat ourselves up. So this year, we resolve to not resolve anything. Instead, we will take a first step and see where it takes us. Because if our goal is just to start, we really can’t really fail can we? And that seems like a great way to start out a new year.

Working Out
This year, after being fit for 5 years I am signed up for a 10K. Time to burn the boat and do something besides look killer with these muscles. 🙂
I started a book, finished it and just published it! I have always wanted to share my journey as a “Go Girl” and validate the benefits being outdoors and participating in sports can bring to girls and women of all ages. The book was the best method to do this so check one item off the bucket list!
I believe anything is possible in this life if you work hard to master the inner voice within you. I truly believe that being active affords one the ability to make sure that voice is a strong one!

In 2016 I am committed to finding a pilot project to try out the Resilient Design and Emergency Planning measures that our national working group created for the US Green Building Council in an effort to future-proof our buildings and businesses around climate change and other disturbances that affect functionality. I am eager to work together with a business or building owner to try out our readiness program. Let’s roll up our sleeves and be prepared!
I am fortunate to have had a life-long active lifestyle and I therefore get to enjoy the full spectrum of Title Nine’s apparel for all my sports, even at 61!
Play my harp everyday. Practice my French everyday. Write more. Take more walks. Live in the moment.
I’m going to start cello lessons! It’s a long time dream, and now that I’m retired it’s going to happen.
Holding myself accountable for my health and happiness.
No sugar, no seconds, and 5 minutes of “look in the eyes” connect time with my husband every day!
I’m going to start dressing like the woman in the photo to ride my horse. Because that makes sense.
Last year I lost the weight (new eating habits and walking), so this year I’m starting to PLAY! With all the toys (and clothes, yes!) that go with it – biking, yoga, and tennis. At 58, better late than never! Thanks for helping me to look current and comfortable;)
I am going to stop kidding myself and start kicking myself into gear. I have the time, the location and all I have been missing is the desire. Seeing real women in this catalogue with killer bodies has motivated me to get my butt into shape. I went from working out all the time to switching jobs and never exercising. This is my year to take charge, be healthy and be awesome!
Yes! I’m motivated just reading this. Sounds like you’re going to have a great year, Tammy.
