Working Out
I’m 65′ 5’9″ and weigh 137 lbs. In addition to biking, jogging and gym classes, I do lots of kayak fishing and use your boardie shorts as fishing shorts. Your offerings are becoming fewer and shorter. How about some additional options with more coverage.
Kimmy, what type of gear are you looking for? We have some great shorts right now with longer inseams.
I work in a (casual) office all day, making a 10-minute (including drive time) transition to the gym for Pilates, Zumba, cardio, yoga, etc. I need underwire bras that will make the transition with maximum support! Pretty much everything else I wear makes the transition too, though I’m having trouble finding shoes that I can work, walk, and then work out or dance in. Weekends are spent sailing or in other water sports.
I love, love, love our “Cuz She Says So” bra. It’s in our “work to workout” category and I wear one almost every day. It’s comfy enough for all day wear, but supportive enough to get you through a low to medium impact workout for sure. http://www.titlenine.com/product/300702.do
I wish you had more small sizes! I am 5’1″, under 100 pounds, and wish I could buy more from you – especially pants, which are impossible. I wear size 0 or 00. Am 66, very active, hiker, walker, yoga. Prefer styles basic and not too trendy.
I am an early 40’s mixed animal veterinarian by day, and hockey mom (who only yells GOOD STUFF, and can clear out the bleachers for 5 rows with my exuberance:-) ) on the weekends. I love my INSANITY workouts every morning that keep my back in tip top shape to do the work that I do. My husband and I ski while the boys board down the mountains of Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. We ride our horses when we can to help my husband with his cowboy day work, but it isn’t as often as we like. LOVE all the Title Nine gear he gets me every year for Christmas! It is always just what I want and fits perfectly because he just hands me the catalog in November and lets me mark all the things on my wish list – PERFECTION!!
I am fit for fun! Hiking and biking, snowshoeing and playing with grandchildren, exploring any and all national parks, savoring each morning with a cup of tea and the best husband in the world, and learning each day how to live wild, free and thankful!
I am a reasonably fit 65 year old, physically and mentally fit to enjoy life!
I’m with Kathy and Claire…..I would LOVE to see Title Nine represent “mature” active women! I am 57 years YOUNG, a corporate fitness trainer and have been training at a company for over 30 years!!!!! I LOVE what I do! I love helping others see the advantage of getting fit early in life and how it will allow you to stay strong, agile, energetic and “looking good” in the “mature” phase of life! It sounds like you have PLENTY of us who would love to model for you!
I’m recently retired at 55 and have discovered that after 35 years of not even being able to look at my yard, yes, I do love being in the garden. Not the pansy planting, rose trimming gardening. I dig, I shovel, I climb my hills in search of weeds, and to nurse volunteer oaks in hopes that they will outlive me. I have shoveled no less than 40 cubic yards of compost and mulch during the ‘lose the lawn’ project (and dug and installed a dry creek bed of river rocks). All by myself. My yard turns out to be a full time job and workout. Oh, and yoga five times a week to counterbalance… After being a competitive swimmer, runner and cyclist, I am fitter and happier than ever.
Sounds like you’ve found a new kind of triathlon! I might have to follow your lead. This sounds like an awesome workout for your body AND spirit. Wonderful!
I will be turning 65 this spring and wear T9 clothes almost exclusively. Would love for you to do a catalogue that included “older” models (though not saying it has to be me!). I teach spinning, core and boot camp classes at the YMCA, and right now in winter my favorite sport is deep snow jogging, with my labs. Would love for T9 to reach out to “seniors” more. I think there’s an untapped market there, at least in the Rocky Mountains where outdoor adventure is what we do the most. Would also like to see some longer board shorts with cute tops, as I’m pretty darn close to retiring from bikinis :).
Deep snow jogging? Who knew there even was such a thing. That sounds impossible and amazing. You must be super strong. As for board shorts, check out our Rogue Short. It’s got a 9″ inseam http://www.titlenine.com/product/120918.do?kwd=rogue
I’m fit for long distance running, rock climbing, hiking, rock climbing, and trapeze performance!!! I’m a 33 year old female combat veteran with a 70% disability rating. DON’T DENY THE DIAGNOSIS, TRY TO DEFY THE VERDICT!!! I refuse to let anything stop me from doing the active, crazy things I love so much!
Yes Marie! What an awesome attitude. And thank you for your service.
