Working Out
PLEASE come out to the East Coast !!!!! with a retail store !!!
I’m all about the women-owned and run thing. I am also trying to purchase clothing that was manufactured with integrity – in other words, NOT made in China or Pakistan in some sweat-shop. I realize that those countries have been making textiles for centuries, so I am hopeful that there is some fair-trade or other appropriate agreement that the Title Nine clothing is made without having subjected another human being to deplorable working conditions and low wages, just so that I can look good. Made in USA would be even better!
I’ve tried unsuccessfully in the past to interest your catalog/business in women’s youth rowing as a means of promoting a sport for which Title IX made all the difference in the United States.
Take a look at our website and our girls, three of whom have signed contracts to row in college next year. We are opening doors in a part of the South in which rowing was previously unknown.
Take a look at The Red Rose Crew, a book about the women who in the 1970’s opened the door in the US to women’s rowing by winning Silver (second place) at Worlds. They protested the lack of funding for women’s rowing in the US and made a huge difference.
Your models are all lovely and fit and usually young mothers or adventurers but how about those women as adolescents? Where did they receive their inspiration? Maybe it’s time for you to consider such young women as well as the older women who forged the way in the 70’s and 80’s.
By the way, the ad you include in your catalog about a women who forged her high school transcript is definitely not cool, at least in my opinion as a women who works with high school students.
Ditto the comment about forging the high school transcript,
We Love your company! The clothes, styles and company vision are exactly right for women who are independent, enabled and driven. Our only wish would be that you expand farther into the mid-west and open a store in the greater Columbus Ohio area.
Keep up the good work!
I love Title Nine! The catalogs are colorful and fun to look through and the clothes are beautiful. I am sometimes disappointed with the quality of an item but low and behold, next season that item is revamped. A company that actually listens to and uses customer feedback is so wonderful.
Thank you, Title Nine girls!
I love your design and colors of your product. Unfortunately, you do not carry petite, I cannot wear most of your cloth unless it is 3/4 sleeves or capri. Do you have plan to introduce petite size in the future?
Thank you.
Allison
Thank you for your “We Are” e-mail and soliciation of comments.
My only request is, please, please, please bring back the Frog Bra; nothing you have mastered since compares. I am a 52 year old, large breasted mother who nursed both of my children. I NEED the compression and shape/structure when I run and the only bra I have ever found that accomplished this goal is the Frog Bra! With the Frog Bra, as you say, I can leap without bouncing.
Hi ladies! I am a size 18 woman, but very active. Love your No Bounce Bra! I wish you would carry more clothing sizes for my size. It is extremely hard to find active wear clothes in plus sizes. I have lost 13 pounds now, but have miles to go. I know you say you are a small company, just wish this was an area you could expand. Thanks!
I like the clothes I have purchased, but since I am 5’2″ its hard to find pants the right length. Please add petites to your pants lines. It gets expensive always having them shortened.
Love your clothes, but would like to see petite clothing as I am only 5’2″.
Thanks! Laura
