Working Out
I really like Title 9. The clothes are both functional & cute. Unfortunately, the prices are just a little too high for me to pay unless the item is on sale. I have about a 50/50 chance of an item being a “keeper” when I try it on (material feels different, fit isn’t just quite right, etc) and I agree with Kim that when you have to pay shipping both ways when you return an item it just adds to the cost. Thanks for starting & keeping a god company going strong.
I love your company, how it’s run, and how you back your product. I tell all my friends how great you are and give them one of my catalogs. Thank you for your great service!
Dear Missy,
I too have been a loyal Title Nine customer and have NEVER been disappointed in your bras! Hold them in place, yet don’t squish, it’s a fine line and I’ve never been disappointed. That said, I have bought some of your clothes recently and found the quality has been lacking. Work out pants that faded after 4-5 washes in cold water AND line dried. What? And a cute skirt that could be worn as a dress…cant remember name, that stretched and can no longer be worn as a skirt. It is now too large around the waist. The knitted hooded sweat shirt. well it’s okay but I’m afraid to wash it after what happened to previously described garments. So all in all it seems that over the years the quality of your clothes has decreased and at $70 for a pair of yoga/work out pants, that’s not acceptable. But the style is as awesome as ever, but my mistakes, or yours, are getting too expensive for my blood.
I havent always been a grandmother or 65 yr old. I once was 35 and working out was always a part of my life; so was Title 9. I continued to incorporate exercise in one form or another in my 40s, 50s and still in my 60s. I think the proper workout clothing is key and Title 9 has the corner. I also love the causal clothes for going out to dinner or a boat ride or riding a bike but mostly the clothes are for 20 and 30 yr olds. So I suggested to Missy et al, that perhaps a little length to the skirts and skorts might appeal to the older generation who still do exercise and who still do love Title nine clothes. I’ve noticed the women heard my request and every now and again I will find an article suitable for a grandmother who exercises. Thank you Title Nine for who you are and what you do.
I have been a titlenine customer for years making the transition from my 40’s into 50’s! For a petite, athletic grandma I love that there are clothes that work for me! I agree that some purchases have not worked once I tried on at home – yet the return policy is great and that is the risk of all online shopping. I agree that the shipping is pricey – but I never place online orders without first hunting for a coupon code. Perhaps titlenine could provide more coupon incentives for their loyal customers. Thanks for sticking it out through – (no doubt) the feast and famine times of your business. The best business’ keep in the forefront that they are all about meeting the needs of others and providing a service. That is what titlenine does for me so I am a happy gal!
I loved receiving Missy’s email this morning because it gave me one more reason to support Title Nine. I found Title Nine years ago when I was searching online for sports bra. I now patronize the Bellevue, Washington. The women in the store are wonderful and I always leave a very happy and satisfied customer. I love the quality materials, the playful designs, the descriptions, customer comments and the user-friendly website. Title Nine is a staple in my life. Thank you!
Love a lot of your clothes but unfortunately I’m 5’2 (on a good day) 106 pounds and a lot of the dresses I like, and even the jacket I just ordered, don’t come in petites and they don’t work for me.
Also – I’m a big free shipping fan. Especially because of things not fitting, I can’t stomach spending $15 with shipping and returns if it doesn’t work. Wish we had a store locally because I do love your catalog!
I agree with a comment made by Tracy. I LOVE T9 clothes and bras, but the shirts run too small. I went to a bra fitting event in Madison and the woman was incredibly helpful. I even was able to get a nice-fitting bra. However, I have never been able to buy your shirts. I had a breast-reduction surgery a few months ago, but still would struggle to fit into the shirts. I love that you are a small company run by women, but hate that you are a company that caters only to smaller women. Please please please consider selling clothes that fit even the heavier fit women who would line up to buy your cool clothes!
You have some of the cutest clothes but I don’t order very often for two reasons. 1. I’m short waisted and most of the tops I’ve ever ordered I’ve had to return because they are too long. 2. Your sweaters are beautiful but most of them have wool in them & I can’t wear wool. I would love to see some of the same style & patterned sweaters in cotton.
I love Title Nine and have been shopping there as long as I can remember it being open. You recently opened a store in my city, too, so that just makes it more fun an easy. You have great customer service. I love that when I call Title Nine, a real person answers the phone and it’s cool that it’s a woman (although, maybe that’s just been by chance and you have guys in customer service, too…….no biggy, as long as the service is great). One thing I’d like to see changed is that brands are noted on the descriptions of the items online and in your catalog. My sense is that not noting the brand is intentional but different brands fit differently. For example, I am consistently a size small in the Title Nine brand but need to order a size up when I buy Prana. Sometimes I can make out the brand from the photo of the item but not always. Thanks for a great company and cute clothes!
