Working Out
After reading many of the comments I am relieved to find I am not alone. I love your clothes but can not get myself to pay the money. I wait for Web only Wednesday to see if there is anything I can purchase. I am active and probably can fit into some of your models descriptions as in i.e., works full time, raises a child, is constantly on the road and is rarely home long enough to spend time pursuing a passion. I start every day running , I do it no matter what weather, but I have found I can find cheaper just as good quality active gear somewhere else. I have my flaws and wish your models were more realistic looking, yes I get the demographic thing but in reality look around not everyone is super fit and needs a supersize bra. I pour over your catalogs and try and figure out what I can buy and then ultimately skip it, will I continue to try, most definetly yes.
I love titlenine clothing and excite about the catalogs I receive I’ve always had a good experience with your company. The quality and style of your products are top notch, I will continue to order for along time. The only thing I wish is to be younger so I can wear your clothing longer.
Hi there! I really love your stuff. I mean I pore over the catalogs when they come in, I dog ear all the pages with skirts, dresses and skorts, but I rarely order, because you don’t make a size that fits me. Here’s why. I’m 4’11”, I wear a bra size 32C (or a 30D if I can find it which is very rare or I have to spend $70 on the bra–what?!), my waist is also very tiny. I do not tell you these things to brag about my body but to point out that your smallest size is often an XS translating to a 2, and not petite options. Even the XS is too big for me, so I don’t bother. I wish I could wear every dress and skirt, ESPECIALLY SWBs, but they are all too long or big at the waist since there is no petite sizing.
I have been reading some other comments, and see that I fit in with your demographic based on the other shops where I shop that were mentioned (Athleta, Sahalie, Zappos). Yes, your and these other shops’ prices are high (I consider paying in the neighborhood of $80 for a dress to be high), which means I have to be very careful when I decide to make a purchase, but if I knew it would have a chance to fit me, I’d be more willing to take the plunge.
Several years ago I did buy a tankini from you. I had the straps taken in a few inches and it has worked for me. I also bought a cover-up and that works as well since it’s loose-fitting by design (I just roll up the long sleeves).
My input is expand your range of sizing out onto both ends (petite and plus). I do buy from Athleta (I also love them) because they make stuff in petite sizes. What can I say? I’m a sucker for that, and I would buy from you if I could get a size (especially around the waist) that I know would fit.
So thanks for what you’re doing, and thanks for asking for our input. I agree with others to get some additional realistic-looking models and offer more sizes. I live in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area and if you wanted to open a store here you would have plenty of buyers for your product! Consider it!
Cheers, Lisa Tully
Love your line esp. the summer dresses. I too would like to see prices a little lower. I would definitely shop at Title Nine more often if the clothing were not so expensive.
I love to browse your clothes in the catalog and online. I love the comments in the catalog about the uses for the clothing. But I agree with others that the prices seem high. I will no longer shop Lululemon although I love Athleta. Your swimsuits are cute and I have ordered a couple different ones but I have returned them as they do not accommodate my 34DD chest.
I am new to title nine and I do absolutely love your clothes. A few things I do agree with other comments is that the clothes are a bit pricey for the average/above average person. Perhaps a second line of similar products could be produced to market others? The sales are great but often then the correct sizes or product is gone. More woman tend to have an extra bulge or two and may need the large or x-large sizes. Your categogs are excellent. I applaud those who put them together. Encourages many I’m sure to continue to work out. More cap sleeve, v-neck items with a flare for those spots to disguise would be great!
Some items I chose for Christmas and it made for an excellent morning and time to go back to work in new titlenine clothes. We really need a store in Arizona! Specially Tucson. 80% of the time it’s warm so most of your lines would be sold year long.
Thanks again for the great clothes! Can’t wait to see my catelog each time!
I do think many of your clothes are overpriced, especially considering the lack of quality in some pieces.
I do not see any diversity in your models. Your clothes are made for thin and athletic women, not women of real ages and bodies. I get that–it’s your demographic, but a reason I have to return a lot of stuff. Why is every model a super woman who does amazing things (3 daughters! I run a company! I run triathalons! I dug my own outhouse!).
While these things are fine and will always help the upper-income demographic you cater too, it’s a bit of a turn off.
Here’s a company to admire: http://www.oddmolly.com/about/ethics
I’d like to know about the ethics of your clothing. Who makes them? What do the women in the factories who make them look like? Are they athletic? Do they pay $99 for a pair of pants?
Just sayin’. It’s not like I don’t shop here.
You should definitely have a better return policy as far as shipping goes. Your clothes often don’t work…..

I love your dresses but would like some “cooler” fabrics. The spandex in hawaii is just too hot and not wearable during the day. What about some bamboo or cotton dresses?
I will continue to support this great company.
I have been a loyal Title Nine customer for several years. I absolutely love the clothes that you have chosen. If I were to start a clothing/shoe/accessory store (which I am not), I would hire your buyers and have the same stuff in said store!
The only complaint that I have as compared to Athleta, is your shipping times. It absolutely takes forever! For the usual $9-10 standard shipping it usually takes over a week to 10 days to get to me with UPS/Smartpost. A company called Sahalie, uses the same shipping and takes just as long. When I order with Athleta (standard is usually free, ’cause I order well over the free limit) I get it in about 3 days, without joining a program. Ordering with Zappos, which I am a VIP, gets me overnight shipping and free returns for no additional cost.
That would be my only advice is to work with someone that can provide you a low cost, faster shipping. I have ordered from a different company at times knowing how long it takes to get your product. Most of the time, however, I wait it out ’cause I really want it! 🙂
I will continue to be a loyal Title Nine Customer!
I love the selection of clothing, but do have to wait for a sale for most of my purchases. I have received many compliments on the things I have ordered. I do agree with other comments that it would be great to have free shipping and returns, that can be the deciding factor in my decision to order.
