Working Out
I believe that you always have time for something if you make it a priority. I try not to say “I didn’t have time for…” Instead, I know I didn’t make it a priority.
I believe, as others have stated, that all ages should be represented in your catalogue. I also believe that routine movements, i.e., squatting to pick something up, stretching to reach something high in a cabinet, can count as part of your daily exercise program and should not be overlooked as a way to stay fit. I believe that it is critical to never stop doing what you once did because it isn’t as easy as it once was.
After seventy years of living, arthritis decided to visit my body but I refuse to change my life style and still play tennis three times a week.
I believe in the old adage that our bodies are our temples. They will give back to us what we put in, not just in the physical sense, but in the spiritual sense also. Being outdoors and moving is like an ignition for our spiritual selves, and for all of our senses. It wakes us up to the importance of integrating all of Earths elements (fire, water, wind ect.) into our daily lives. We come from these elements and should be communing with them as much as possible. And every day, we should thank our body for what it has done for us that day, even if we only made it around the block!
Furthermore, our dogs will always be our best friends!!!
I believe that I lust after all of your clothes but I also believe that I can’t afford them unless there is a super sale. I believe that you have to keep your prices high or everyone would be wearing your stuff and it would become less special (but still awesome). I believe that you are the best athletic store for women.
I believe that Fall is the most magnificent time of year. I believe that cool foggy mornings and crisp clear nights bring me to life. I believe that dressing in layers and wrapping up in blankets rocks. I believe that tart, hand-plucked apples, warm butternut squash soup and hot cider nourish the spirit and body. I believe that a long trail run in the midst of falling leaves is heavenly. I believe that a dog running loose, bounding over fallen logs and sending a flock of birds flying is freedom. I believe that corn mazes, pumpkin chucking, jack-o-lantern carving, roasted pumpkin seed consumption and tending bonfires are superb activities. I believe that having a birthday in October is lucky. I believe that the robust reds, sharp yellows, blazing oranges providing a such glorious show before exiting is bold and brave. I believe that I could thrive in Fall year round and never grow tired of Nature’s gifts
I believe that all ages, races, and abilities/disabilities should be featured in catalogs and advertising. Younger women, us older gals, women in wheelchairs, we ALL can be inspirational role models. I would like to see Title 9 take the lead on this. I believe in the power of all women.
I believe that fit comes in all sizes and can happen at any age.
I believe in the healing power of water. That chlorine is the best perfume and that I will never know my true hair color. And that swimmers swim first because it is fun and then maybe for a workout. And I believe that Cynthia Smith is right.
I believe in the power to make a difference in this world no matter how small. I believe that there is good in everyone, we just need to find how to get it out. I believe that exercise makes you feel powerful, strong, and invincible! (even though it hurts sometimes). I believe in determination to keep going no matter how tired I may get. I believe in God who gave me so many blessings that I can’t even count them and that the most important blessings are the ones I get to live with, and make a difference to, everyday.
I believe in kindness & compassion, forgiveness & acceptance. I believe in the power & gift of motherhood! I believe you feel & perform better in awesome well-made cruelty-free clothing! I believe in dancing & running 20 miles a week. I believe in all the chances we get in love & life!
