Inauguration Day is upon us, a long and divisive election behind us, and a great opportunity lies ahead of us.
We as women are called upon to Play On as never before.
Now we start the long and important work of positioning women to risk and to run at every level of elected office all across this great country of ours.
And so, on Inauguration Day, Title Nine will be donating 9% of sales to the non-profit She Should Run, a non-partisan incubator that mentors women to run for political office.
We’re hoping you’ll join us in placing a big bet on the women at She Should Run and all the women who ever thought, “maybe I should run.”
It’s a sure bet, because…we know that when more women run, we ALL win.
Let’s run,
Missy Park, Founder
Woo hoo! I’m definitely shopping from Title Nine on Jan 20. I disagree with the negative comments. A women’s clothing company should support women! And as you said, you do not endorse any particular candidate, just women. I believe we need both Republican and Democrat women.
We love the enthusiasm AND the support!
Thanks for sharing information about and supporting this program. It looks like a great program to get women of all political stripes involved.
Thanks Cyndi! We’re so thrilled to be able to support them.
Perhaps all the women who have posted negative comments about this noble cause have not opened their eyes to the challenges and uphill battles women have always, and will continue face in today’s world. Mentoring women and empowering us to advance is a wonderful thing! Thank you Title Nine!
We’d have to agree Anne!
Wow. I’m shocked to hear such negativity from people. Thanks for donating to an awesome organization!
Thanks Liz. We love all kinds of comments. It means people are paying attention!
This is the second time in 3 months you have had a political ad. Around the election, you supported Hillary in a pantsuit ad, now you’re still supporting her with another red pantsuit. STOP! It is offensive.
I don’t pick a candidate by gender, that is discrimination.
Hi Shelley, we appreciate your feedback! Though we have never come out in direct support of any candidate, we do feel strongly that more women (of any party) in political office benefits everyone.
I’d rather give my money to women I support. Non-partisan is noble, but as you can see, there are women on both sides in these comments.
I am in!
I have been a loyal customer for years I wish companies would stay out of politics and just sell great stuff, I will no longer be buying any products from your company
Thank you for speaking your mind Teresa. We made a concerted effort to choose a non-partisan organization, as we strongly believe in women as leaders across party lines.
Thanks so much for supporting women running for elected offices. I ran for city council and then for mayor of my community in Indiana. It was the most exciting and rewarding 8 years of my life. Women make strong leaders and we need more women to get involved on the local level. Real change happens on the local level.
Wow! Way to go Jan. Thank you for serving your community. We so admire women who are willing to take a risk and lead.
I agree with the sentiment, but am leery about where the money will go. All to democrats I presume from past experience. Even the march on washington is for liberals only,
Hi Barbara, thank you for speaking out. We made a concerted effort to choose an organization that is truly non-partisan. We strongly believe in women as leaders across party lines.
