Women Run It

Women Run It

A fit woman is fit for everything — fit to run, fit for duty, fit for office, fit for life, and fit to lead. As a woman-led company, we believe there is a seat at the table for more businesses like ours: by women, for women.

Meet a few of the trailblazing women running the companies we are proud to work with. Like us, they believe in the power of women to change the world, if we could just get our workout in!

T9 Gives Back to Sports!

Back to Sports We are proud to help get women and girls off the sidelines and into the game, with programs like our Back to Sports Fridays. A portion of our retail proceeds each Friday in September went to supporting women’s and girls’ sports teams. We gave out over $18,000 across our 23 retail locations!

Our retail stores have always supported local athletes; but this year, for the first time, all 23 stores invited their local communities to nominate their favorite amateur teams, and we were we blown away by all the amazing stories!

It was a tough job, but each store picked a winning team to receive the proceeds from not just one, but four shopping events in the month of September. Check out some of their stories below. (more…)

The Journey of the Skirt: Bringing Out My Inner Badass

You never know where or when you’re going to discover your inner badass. Some don’t believe they have one, but trust me, we all do and she is waiting for you to find her. Sometimes it happens in the middle of the race when you’re in so much pain your eyeballs hurt, but you find a force you didn’t know you had and cross that finish line. That’s your inner bad ass. Or maybe your friends invited you mountain biking and by the end of the day, you were the one breaking the trail. Well, in this case our girl Amy found her inner badass ala a Title Nine skirt. Read on, be inspired and then go out and find your own inner badass. She’s waiting for you.

I didn’t know the skirt was magic when I bought it.

I was simply looking for something practical and cute to wear while rafting the Grand Canyon this summer and thought that a skirt would be a fun alternative to my board shorts.

I found it (at Title Nine, of course) only a week before I left, and with its fun flip at the bottom, pockets for my iPhone/camera, and quick-dry material perfect for wearing around the water, I fell immediately in love. (more…)

10 Things We Dare You To Do Today

Have you ever connected with someone inspiring and as a result met another incredible individual? And upon talking to them you find yourself introduced to more and more wonderful people? It’s amazing how strong, motivated and empowered people are all connected and once you find yourself in that path, doors open wide. That’s what happened with us today and as a result we came across this article from Marc and Angel Hack Life, that really hit home and we hope it will do the same for you. We’re not big on lists around here, but these 10 things are truly worth investing some time in. Thank you Joyce for being that inspiring someone!

What you do every day is already important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.  But today, I dare you to take it up a notch, pump some extra life into every hour, and really make your time count.

Today, I dare you to…

  1. Make someone else smile. – Ordinary people worry today and postpone their happiness for tomorrow.  Intelligent people are happy today and postpone their worries for tomorrow.  Wise people only wish happiness for all, today and tomorrow.  If you wish to have a lifetime of happiness, dedicate time every day to helping others smile with complete sincerity and enthusiasm.
  2. Be imperfect. – Something that is really difficult, but totally worth it, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the journey of becoming your true self.  The most beautiful part of this journey is simply returning to the peaceful feeling of being.  This peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.
