Bring on the season. Bring on the challenge. Bring on the new year. Whatever it is, we’re ready. What are you ready for? Do you see yourself taking less time for preparation and just getting out there, getting it done? Being the first to hit the trail while everyone else decides which socks to wear? Throwing on that dress right out of the dryer, tossing on some boots and heading out the door while someone else can’t decide which stockings are the cutest? Be light, be easy and you’ll astound yourself with what you can accomplish.

Holiday Wishes

More or less? Sometimes it is hard to keep straight what’s important and what isn’t with all of what life throws at us. Especially during the holiday season when our time is demanded by so many places and so many things. Missy lays down her law of what we could use more or less of in the coming months. What do you think? What will you be having more and less of? Whatever your fancy, may you enjoy it to the fullest and have a happy holiday doing what you love.

Thankful for the ones who came before…

thankful2THANKFUL for the ones who had to fight with brass knuckles while wearing power suits, panty hose and pumps. THANKFUL for the ones who never played on a field or a court but somehow knew that it was important nonetheless. THANKFUL for the ones who may now seem humorless, but only because their cause was so dead serious. THANKFUL for the ones who by guile and by aggression got a seat at the table. THANKFUL for the ones who could see the ceiling beyond the glass. THANKFUL for the opportunities built by the resolve of these women. THANKFUL to be an American woman in the 21st century-opportunity awaits. THANKFUL for a little girl and a little boy who do not know that it was every any other way.
