I’ve been trying to improve my routine (ie daily) strength building. I will try beginner pull up and intermediate push ups.
Thanks for inspiring me!
I have not been able to get into any consistent exercise program since my daughter was born over 6 1/2 years ago. I just turned 40 this year, and feel I need to get stronger and more flexible if I still want to be moving well in 10 years. I’ve always hated leg work, so I’m starting with wall squats. Hoping to add push-ups and planks, but given my track record I’m starting small. So here we go! Wish me luck!
Let this 30 day challenge be your gateway to making a good habit that sticks! We are here with you the whole way. Let’s do this! –Christina@T9
I needed this kick-start. Intermediate planks, push UPS and wall sits. On top of the usual cardio. Thanks title nine
I am doing the wall sits, plank and push ups. Starting at the Beginner Level because I just tried it and it was hard! I have never been athletic but I am determined to be more fit when I turn 50 in a little over 2 years. YIKES! Thanks for the motivation!!
I am in the advanced category on all but pull ups. I totally suck at them, so that is my goal!
I decided to do all four. I’ve been WAY slacking on strength work. I did 30 seconds on wall sit, 3 knee pushups, 25 shaky seconds of plank until my puppy came and started licking up my nose! Pull ups? I couldn’t even hold in the up position for a single second! (I’ve never been able to do a full pull up anyway in my whole life.) So I got a stool and did five assisted pull-ups. Now my pull up goal for 30 days has been revised to be able to hold in the up position for ANY amount of seconds at all!
This is so cool! I am going to get my daughter and her roomates to join in!
Yeh! I pick planks and push-ups!!!!
I’m going for three beginner moves here — wall sit, plank and push ups! I would add pull-ups but I don’t have my bar set-up yet. I may add it before the month is up.
That’s a good call! Modify and add as you see fit. This challenge is all about making it work for YOU! –Christina@T9
I’m going to try intermediate pull ups and wall sits. It’ll be a good addition to my regular routine.
