To the caffeine-deprived muddlers and the joyful kid-cuddlers. To the risk takers and choice makers. To the company builders and power wielders. To the community creators and made-up-game players.
We show our daughters how to lead and our sons how to follow strong women. And we do that and a whole bunch more…
Every. Damn. Day.
To the mamas who show up day after day–messy bun, mud-splattered and maybe even mis-dressed. But still we show up. To stake a claim or claim the stakes. To lead and, yes, sometimes to follow as well.
We, the mamas, will teach our children and our communities, and yes, even our cats to break rules and make rules and always, always joyfully rule.
Here’s to ALL the mamas who are setting the pace and the priorities for our families and our communities and our future. We are fierce. We are powerful. We are tireless–even though we are sometimes just plain tired out.
But the mamas, all of us together: We Are Unstoppable.
